Apidel Technologies is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Clinic Family Practice for a local contract job in Marietta, Georgia.

Position details:
Position- Family Nurse Practitioner
Location- Marietta, GA
Contract: 06+ Months
Shift- Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30p for first week training. 32.5h average for work week after 4-week orientation

Application for DEA registration will be required during onboarding.

Position Summary
• MinuteClinic Physician Assistants work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver evidence-based care to a panel of patients.
• The clinical team partners with the provider daily to improve health outcomes across the entire patient panel.
• Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning.
• This role reports to the Practice Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to:
• Opening and closing the clinic
• Inventory management
• Patient follow-up
• Verifying insurance and collecting payments
• Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
• Manage patient appointments and conduct routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Complete diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive care plans.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare through:
• Health screenings
• Behavioral health and wellness services
• Chronic condition management

Required Experience & Qualifications
• Completion of a Physician Assistant program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Active State license to practice in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1-year recent Primary Care experience as a PA in family medicine or primary care preferred.
• Working knowledge of quality measurement in chronic disease management.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and patient advocacy skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work remotely within a clinical care team culture.
• Ability to practice autonomously without direct supervision.
• Proficiency in information management and healthcare technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Ability to collaborate frequently with professional colleagues to ensure quality patient care.

Education Requirements
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies OR Other health-related Master’s degree in conjunction with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Active State of Employment license required.
