We are seeking a skilled Locksmith/Access Control Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
Commercial Door & Frame Installations:
Install and repair commercial doors and frames to ensure proper functionality and security.
Access Control Systems:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems to regulate entry to commercial buildings.
Commercial Re-key:
Re-key commercial locks to enhance security and restrict unauthorized access.
Swap Out Like for Like Hardware:
Replace existing hardware with new, identical parts to maintain consistency and functionality.
Create Key for Lock:
Fabricate keys from scratch for various types of locks.
Duplicate Keys:
Produce duplicate keys for customers as needed.
Install Door Closers:
Install door closers to ensure doors close automatically and securely.
Service Door Closers:
Repair and maintain door closers to keep them in proper working order.
Service/Install Push Bars:
Install and service push bars for emergency exits and other applications.
Service/Install DETEX Exit Alarms:
Install and maintain DETEX exit alarms to enhance building security and safety.
Service/Install Adams Rite Dead Latches & Push Paddles:
Install and service Adams Rite dead latches and push paddles for commercial doors.
Master Key System:
Design, implement, and maintain master key systems for commercial buildings.
Open Safes:
Open and service safes to ensure access and security for clients.
Repair Safes:
Perform repairs on safes to restore functionality and security.
Replace Hinges:
Replace door hinges to ensure proper door operation and alignment.
Herculite Door Service:
Service and maintain Herculite doors to ensure durability and security.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a locksmith or access control technician.
Strong knowledge of commercial lock systems, access control, and security hardware.
Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
