Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is looking for an experienced Thoracic OR Physician Assistant to join their team!
Job Description:
- Dates of Coverage: March 2025-May 2025
- Reason for Coverage: PA out on maternity leave
- Practice Setting: Operating room, clinic
- Rate Type Options: Daily
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days
- No Call
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: Varies
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level/Designation: 2
- APP Working Autonomously: Yes
- Training or Experience Required: Thoracic PA experience in the operating room and pre-op testing (no new grads)
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult
Locum to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees:
- NP/PA:
- 160-319 hours = BR500 reduction
- 320-639 hours = BR reduction
- 640+hours = BR500 reduction
- Regardless of number of hours a NP/PA has worked, reduction will not exceed BR500
Henry Ford does not reimburse for background checks or credentialing fees

Board Certified PA (NCCPA) - REQUIRED
Active MI license - REQUIRED
Thoracic OR Experience - REQUIRED
Clean Background- REQUIRED
BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
Conversion Rate cap- BR8k- Required at time of presentation
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

- Michigan
