Locum Physician Emergency Medicine Bay City Apply
McLaren Medical Group - Bay Region seeks a Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage from November 2024 to March 2025
JOB DETAILS:
Reason for Locum Coverage: Recruitment GapPatients per day: total 80 day, 1.8 patients per hour for physicians
Staff Support: APP 12 hours, full ED support with nursing and tech, full radiology, full lab
Current EHR in use: Cerner
Procedures/Skills Required:
Family Medicine Procedures/Skills: Adult Outpatient, Pediatric-General Outpatient, Newborn resuscitation, Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures, Suturing of minor lacerations, Incision & Drainage, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated adult, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated child/adolescent, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated geriatric, Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems, Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation, Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line, Arterial Line, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, EM related procedures
Expenses:
Car, fuel, mileage, hotel is a BR50 cap (including taxes)
Does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodgingMalpractice must be included in rates
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate
Rates to Submit:
Orientation - 1/2 of hourly rate for orientation and training
On call Daily -24hrs - to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call
Holiday On call Daily- 24hrs - to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call when working on a holiday
Weekend call - per 24 hours of call Sat and Sun to include 4 hours gratis
Call back - after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage)
Holiday Call back - after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage) when working a holiday
Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved
Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Board Certified (No BE) - Required
- MI License - Required at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC
- BLS - Required
- Provider must be local - REQUIRED, no exceptions
- Must have clean background for quick credentialing - REQUIRED no exceptions
- Please submit rates at time of name clear - Required, will not send to client without rates
- Must be available for above dates - Required
