Locum Physician Obgyn West Valley City Apply
Summary: Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley West (HCW) is looking for additional OB/GYN's to fill their urgent need. OBGYN will cover the call coverage in the OBGYN group and will need to be available for 8 shifts per month starting November.

Rate Caps for Submission:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Holiday Must be 1.5x the regular rate. Per holiday hour, no OT
On Call (Daily) BR-3600 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
On Call Daily Holiday Call Rate - BR - BR400 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
Call Back BR01-500 Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back BR - BR Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Average call back is minimal.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- Start Date: November 2024
- Assignment: 8 shifts per month starting November. The call includes 2 sites.
- 24-hour call with 4 hours gratis (7a-7a)

- Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room, Clinic Trauma Level III
- FTE: 2.0
- Required Procedures/Job Duties: General OB/GYN procedures & job duties. Candidates will need to see patients in clinic, provide deliveries and procedures in the hospital, and group call coverage.
- EMR: Epic
Support Staff: MA - Reason for Coverage: Departure of existing physician and another physician ramping down in preparation for retirement.
EMR Required Training:
- Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Provider is required to schedule and complete their virtual EMR training prior to their first day, to avoid missing their first shift.
Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):
Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
