Locum Physician Physiatry Pm R Petoskey Apply
McLaren Northern Michigan seeks a Locum PM&R physician to provide coverage from December 9, 2024 to September 1, 2025.
JOB DETAILS:
Reason for Locum Coverage: retirement of current attending.No Outpatient Duties
Patients per day: no outpatient. Inpatient requirement 3 notes per week. NP on unit supplements. 14 beds
Provide information on support staff, APP coverage, number of providers in the clinic and on-site services (lab, radiology, procedure room): full time NP assists with notes. Hospitalists can cover call if consulting model is desired
Current Exx in use: Cerner
Procedures/Skills required:
Physiatrist, PAPE/H & P, Stroke, Amputations, Discharge Summary/Med Rec, Clinical Staffing/Care Plan Meetings, Weekly Care Plan Documentation, Pre-Admission Screening Review & Documentation per CMS Guidelines, Prescribing Narcotics, Daily Patient Face to Face Acute Consultations as necessary, Insurance Peer-to-Peers as necessary
Expenses:
Car, fuel, mileage, hotel is a xx150 cap (including taxes)
Does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodgingMalpractice must be included in rates
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate
Rates to Submit:
Orientation - 1/2 of hourly rate for orientation and training
On call Daily -24hrs - to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call
Holiday On call Daily- 24hrs - to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call when working on a holiday
Weekend call - per 24 hours of call Sat and Sun to include 4 hours gratis
Call back - after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage)
Holiday Call back - after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage) when working a holiday
Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved
Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Board Certified (No BE) - Required
- MI License - Required at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC
- BLS - Required
- Provider must be local - REQUIRED, no exceptions
- Must have clean background for quick credentialing - REQUIRED no exceptions
- Please submit rates at time of name clear - Required, will not send to client without rates
- Must be available for above dates - Required
