Locum Physician Surgery Cardiothoracic Petoskey Mi Apply
McLaren Medical Group is looking for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to take call 24/7 for the last 10-11 days every month (starting the 20th of each month). They will carry a small patient panel of outpatients (if able) to follow and perform elective/emergent CTCVS surgeries. They will provide on-call services, covering cath lab,emergency surgeries, inpatient consults/surgeries.

Complete Cardio-Thoracic coverage for hospital.
This includes urgent cases and call.
No clinic coverage necessary. This is for hospital only.
There is first assist APP and APP rounding.

Physician will be second call.
Adult demographic100% Hospital based
EMR: Cerner
Patients per day: variable (10 surgeries/month for full time provider)
Support staff, APP coverage, number of providers in the clinic and on-site services: CTCVS is supported with 1-3 APPs (sourcing locums and recruiting during a current gap). There isa dedicated RN to the program who facilitates scheduling. OR, radiology, and lab are all onsite.
Must include 4 hours of gratis in Oncall rate
**Please note: Must have active MI license at time of name clear; will only accept IMLC when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC. Will only accept Board Certified - it is noted in their bylaws. Must be COVID vaccinated. Provide rates at time of name clear DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear Car, Fuel, mileage, hotel is a xx150 cap (including taxes)rental must be refueled before being returned McLaren does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved |

- MI License: Required - no exceptions, not accepting IMLC
- Must be available for coverage - no exceptions, unable to be flexible
- All candidates MUST be actively credentialed in Michigan
- Board Certified: Required
- Covid Vaccination: Required
- 4 hours of gratis in on call rate: Required
- Local providers, or limited travel - Highly preferred
- Clean background - Required, no exceptions
- Rates and availability must be submitted at time of name clear - Required, will not send to client without rates
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS
- Board Certified

- Michigan
Weekend Requirements : 48 hours for Sat and Sun
On Call Requirements : Yes after gratis and 8 hours of scheduled shift
