Responsibilities

This is an APP ED/IP Hyrbid program in Hazen, ND. They will be covering the ED AND Inpatient floor doing sole provider coverage.

The provider will stay on site, doing 24-hour consecutive shifts. MUST be comfortable with Emergency Medicine and Inpatient procedures.

We can take an EM Physician as well if needed but would prefer an APP.

This is a Daily Bill Rate- no call back.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Facility: Sakakawea Medical Center - Hazen, ND

Dates of Coverage Needed:

4/28 8:00am orientation & noon hand off - 5/2 noon hand off

Certifications Required:

• Board Certified required? Yes
• ACLS, BLS, PALS & ATLS

Schedule:

• Start Time: 8am orientation, noon time hand off
• Typical End Time: noon but need to be available until 3pm in the event the incoming provider has travel issues ( the incoming provider has a day before orientation and should be there on time)
• Avg Nightly Callbacks: N/A this is 24-hour solo coverage seeing patients overnight is part of the job

• Specialty support (Besides ER, is Interventional cardiology / neurology, IR, GI, etc available?): Avel E-Care in the ED and IP setting - physician available via telemed 24/7. RPG also has Compass Telemed subspecialty support available for Cardiology, Infectious Disease and Pulmonology.
