CTC Medisource is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine for a locum tenens job in Weslaco, Texas.

About:
• Our client’s hospital is a 23k-annual-volume ED with an 8-bed inpatient unit designed to serve as a step between a free-standing ED and a Medical Center.
• Daily Average Census: 6
• Specialties: Seizures, Respiratory, Gastroenterology
• Number of Beds: 8
• EMR: Cerner
Required Documents:
• Color copy of Driver's license (can be provided at hospital orientation)
• Social Security Card (Client required for billing purposes only)
• Visa/Passport, if applicable
• Color Photo (to be uploaded in the application portal upon submission)
• Case Logs for the past 2 years required for all clinicians
• Copies of CMEs for the past 2 years (4 hours of Stroke at initial & annually for ER clinicians & 16 hours of Trauma annually if specific to privilege requested)
• ECFMG, if applicable
• DD214, if applicable
Required Immunizations:
• MMR
• Hep B
• Varicella
• Tdap
• Covid (proof during initial privileging)
• Annual Flu vaccine Required (or must complete declination form & wear mask all the time)
• Annual TB Required (Quan/PPD accepted)
Education
• PA/NP degree with inpatient experience.
• Active TX license and DEA.
• Merit Badges are not required for any clinicians.
Coverage Model
• NP/PA round on patients, M-F from 7a-3p.
• Physician on-call backup - THIS IS AN 8-HOUR SHIFT Monday - Friday ONLY
