About this opportunity

This position is responsible for acting as a liaison between the Logistics group and the district offices. This position is responsible for utilizing the delivery software to oversee all aspects of route management and to maximize delivery and equipment resource planning while providing the highest level of service to the district offices. Additionally, this position is expected to advance the delivery software processes by proactively identifying, implementing, and sustaining improved opportunities and enhancing the software’s capabilities through continued application of logistical learning.

This is a full time, in-office position located in Hudson, NH.

What your role will look like

  • Oversee, monitor, and effectively manage daily delivery route scheduling processes by continuously improving the logistics tools and using best practices for software designs/ optimization and dynamic routing.
  • Plan or implement order management systems to meet all delivery production requirements for future and “day of” deliveries.
  • Respond to and assist all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner and communicate effectively with peers and district liaisons.
  • Establish and monitor specific software performance metrics to include preparing reports and communications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Actively listen, collaborate, and communicate with company contacts to identify and create policies, procedures, and contingency plans for logistic activities to ensure optimal management of resources.
  • Establish and conduct company-wide logistics asset planning and forecasting (degree day deliveries, no heat, tank maintenance, inventory management, etc.).
  • Collaboratively develop, support, and participate with training initiatives, which may include travel to district offices.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of how settings, conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Identify metrics or indicators of the delivery software performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
  • Support and assist Drivers with troubleshooting and login.
  • Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.

  • Experience: General industry and analytical experience preferred.
