Oversee the shipping process during the shift, including shipment schedule, and coordination of all job duties that pertain to shipping.
Job Description
Shipping Shift Coordinator:
Accurately prepares shipments to customers using approved procedures in Syteline.
Handles other requests for unscheduled shipments. This includes the preparation of required paperwork; invoices, packing lists, shippers letter of instruction (SLI), bill of lading, and labels.
Packs and palletizes shipments per customer and government requirements.
Contacts appropriate carriers for pick-ups.
Tracks shipments per customer expectations and OTC goals using appropriate systems.
Document Preparation and Management:
Prepares documents to comply with government regulations on all shipments using Syteline.
Problem Solving:
Identifies and corrects problems in the appropriate systems.
Finds solutions to the problems and involves other functions as required.
Proactively works to create efficient systems and processes to stop problems before they happen.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five+ years of receiving, shipping and warehousing experience.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of duties such as transportation scheduling, quality control, receiving, packing, shipping and inventory management.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to safely use shipping equipment as required. Includes but not limited to scales, stretch wrap benders and pallet jacks.
- Will frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and routinely lift up to 55 lbs.
