Work Environment: In-person, collaborative office setting

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to prepare, route, and manage sales orders. Duties include reviewing shipment materials before distribution, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups, and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes. The ideal candidate will have the ability to facilitate communication between production, sales, and distribution to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating sales orders to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Reviewing sales orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Make special shipping arrangements, as necessary
  • Tracking and correcting shipping errors
  • Preparing bills and invoices
  • Ensuring the quality of all services
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Ability to use computers, software, and other technology for inventory communication purposes
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to track multiple processes
  • Computer-savvy, with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills
  • Quick, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Excel
