Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards. Oversee the effective utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and logistics personnel. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics management within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Deep understanding of inventory control, warehousing operations, domestic and international transportation, and customs compliance. Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes, implementing continuous improvement, and leading cross-functional teams. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
