Project Planner / Scheduler Logistics Support for Aerospace OperationsKeep aerospace programs moving by ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time. The Opportunity PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a detail-driven Project Planner / Scheduler to support logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations in Piney Flats, TN. In this role, you'll be a critical link in the supply chainhelping ensure materials, parts, and finished products flow efficiently and compliantly to support aerospace manufacturing and repair operations. This is a full-time consultant role (6 months) with steady first-shift hours and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated, high-impact aerospace environment.What You'll Do As part of the logistics team, you'll support inventory control and warehouse/shipping activities with accuracy, safety, and urgency. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Receiving, handling, storing, recording, and distributing goods within the warehouseInspecting incoming goods for damage and verifying accuracy against invoices and documentationSorting, labeling, and storing materials to maintain organized and optimized warehouse spaceResearching part numbers, vendors, and sourcing details using manuals, drawings, and online toolsRecording the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and updating inventory systemsRetrieving inventory data to respond to inquiries on stock levels and delivery schedulesPicking, packing, and dispatching outgoing materials per orders or requestsAssisting with HazMat documentation for domestic and international shipmentsWorking with freight carriers to obtain quotes and coordinate pickupsSupporting routing and carrier selection when requiredPerforming visual inspections of incoming parts for Repair Station operations, ensuring documentation accuracyProviding reports and status updates to managers and stakeholdersDemonstrating safe work habits and compliance with regulatory and quality requirementsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED23 years of experience related to logistics, inventory, or warehouse operationsHazmat / Dangerous Goods trainingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to use computers, including MS Office applicationsAbility to train or mentor other team membersFor Repair Station roles: Completion of Repair Station Inspection Privileges & Responsibilities trainingThis position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
