Overview The Inventory & Logistics Supervisor serves as the day-to-day leader for BDC’s shipping and receiving operations located in Dade City. This role leads the shipping and receiving team in executing outbound shipments and inbound receiving processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, performance, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and VP of Operations to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and will be an advocate for our ERP system within the Supply Chain team. Core Responsibilities Leadership & Workflow Management Direct the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team Serve as the primary point of contact for all shipping and receiving operations Monitor and adjust workflows to meet shipping deadlines and volume Mentor and coach team members to meet performance expectations Shipping & Receiving Operations Oversee accurate boxing, labeling, palletizing, and documentation Coordinate Amazon and retail customer requirements for labeling, routing, and compliance Manage receiving procedures, including inspection and inventory staging Maintain clear and complete shipping/receiving records Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are stored in designated locations. Conduct and reconcile cycle counts and periodic full physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with cross-functional teams. Partner with Production to maintain stock readiness. Safety & Compliance Lead by example in promoting warehouse safety practices Participate on the Safety Team and help lead safety initiatives Ensure adherence to 5S standards in shipping and receiving areas Identify and proactively address safety concerns Process Improvement & Documentation Track and report shipping KPIs Assist in SOP creation and continuous improvement efforts Provide cross-functional feedback and support projects with QC, Purchasing, and Customer Service Serve as an ERP “super user” for the Supply Chain team. Maintain inventory records in ERP with a high degree of accuracy. Generate reports to support Supply Chain decision-making. Cross-Department Communication Coordinate with Inventory Control, Production, and Quality to ensure smooth handoffs Support new hire onboarding and team training Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 4+ years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or shipping roles Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced environment Strong ERP system proficiency (experience as a “super user” a plus). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall IT aptitude. Familiarity with Amazon FBA/FBM, and retail logistics Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regularly required to lift heavy weights (50 pounds or greater) Frequent walking throughout warehouse and facility Manual dexterity for handling packages, tools, and documentation Required to reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel Required to bend, lift, and climb Must be able to talk and hear clearly in a warehouse setting Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Exposure to moving mechanical parts (forklifts, conveyors, equipment) Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and warehouse chemicals May require use of protective equipment: gloves, boots, and protective eyewear Work is primarily indoors but may involve exterior dock or trailer exposure Noise level is generally moderate, with periodic loud environments during operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
