Logistics Supervisor - Twinsburg, OH Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Sign on bonus: $3,000 for external applicants only. Pay: Minimum of $63,270+ per year. Responsible for performance‑oriented supervision, training, coaching, and developing new employees and all staff on all job duties, compliance, and annual competency requirements. Prepare employee schedules, monitor attendance and performance, maintain adequate departmental coverage, provide corrective action and counseling as required, and administer annual performance appraisals. Reinforce customer‑focused improvement by investigating, resolving, and responding to internal and external customer complaints efficiently using Everyday Excellence Principles. Organize and lead projects within the workgroup and with cross‑functional groups; meet all deadlines assigned by the manager; may be required to give presentations within the business unit. Oversee safety, ergonomics, inventory, maintenance and cleanliness of department (including upgrades). Manage daily departmental operations and workflow to meet TAT requirements and deadlines. Review departmental Procedure Manual, ensure compliance, identify need for revisions, and develop and implement SOPs. Ensure required trainings are completed by self and staff to meet deadlines (e.g., Compliance, Safety, Safe Driver). Ensure fiscal responsibilities of the department are met, including implementation of cost containment programs, management of overtime, and participation in standardization initiatives. Work with Senior Supervisor/Manager to provide short/long‑term range planning for logistics area to meet departmental requirements and client needs. Prioritize logistics activities to meet deadlines. Analyze and manage departmental budget for manpower and operational costs. Ensure accuracy of invoice and expense coding and associated records. Maintain payroll accuracy and associated records. Properly maintain required records and documentation. Know, understand and comply with company and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. Demonstrate organizational commitment. Capable to perform duties of RSR roles (RSR, Sp. RSR, Adv. RSR Float, Adv. RSR Trainer and Group Leader). Perform administrative duties, coordination, data‑oriented activity and other professional duties. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Work Experience: 1–5 years supervisory or leadership experience. Preferred Work Experience: 2–4 years in logistics field. Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to lift and carry objects; frequent walking and/or standing. Knowledge: Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; proficient with OSP, QDTrac, PeopleSoft and other Quest Diagnostics IT systems. Must be flexible and available for staffing requirements including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime. Familiar with QMS methodology.
