Job Description:
Position s Contributions to Work Group:
- Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processing of rate requests and spot quotes to support critical and ad-hoc moves within Client's Ground Transportation Network.
- Procurement data analyst support for Open Equipment, Container Drayage, Rail and Transloading.
- Investigating rate invoice disputes. Submitting approval requests for purchasing recommendations.
Typical task breakdown:
- Check email, check status of work in que. Award loads, review tasks as assigned.
- Helping with freight rate discrepancies
- Pulling reports from systems
- Helping develop the data to report out to work directors team and buyers.
Interaction with team:
- Both personal, email, teams and verbal interactions with internal and external teams throughout Client.
Work environment:
- Standard Client hybrid work environment in the office at least 3 days a week.
- 100% office
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Logistics required. Will accept a new grad.
- 2-4 years Logistics or buying experience.
Technical Skills:
(Required)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Basic, v-lookups and pivot table experience preferred), Word & PowerPoint

- Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce
Soft Skills:
