Responsibilities Of Civil Engineer Project Manager
- Oversee transportation engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, designers, and contractors to develop innovative solutions for transportation systems.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, analyze data, and make recommendations for effective and efficient traffic flow.
- Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and construction plans.
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects.
- Utilize your expertise in Civil Engineering to create efficient transportation systems that prioritize safety and sustainability.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying them to your projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as government agencies, consultants, and clients to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Pennsylvania P.E. license.
- Eight or more years of experience with transportation and/or traffic engineering projects, specifically in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and design (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SYNCHRO, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex engineering challenges.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
