The successful candidate should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.
- Provides treatment to clients by developing, implementing, and modifying adoloescense, individual and couple's treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for kids, individuals and couples.
- Staying up to date on latest professional interventions and techniques.
- Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of clients.
- Experience with trauma focused interventions.Experience.
- Certification and/or experience providing sex therapy a plus.

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or a degree in a related area. Must have a Masters degree and be licensed with the https://www.azbbhe.us/ . At least 6 months to a year of clinical experience as a counselor. A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute.
