Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available within a school setting in Seattle, WA, serving a third-grade student with complex medical needs, including asthma, seizures, and wheelchair dependence. This role focuses on delivering specialized nursing care to support the health and safety of the student during school hours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health support to a medically fragile third-grade student
- Monitor and manage asthma and seizure care protocols effectively
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school nurse credentialing standards
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and implement individualized health interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN/LVN license
- School Nurse Credential from Department of Education and ESA Credential
- Experience with pediatric nursing and managing students with complex medical conditions preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school healthcare procedures
Location: Seattle, Washington (position part-time, focused on one student in a school environment)

This contract position runs immediately through June 17, 2026. Candidates will be considered based on credential verification and suitability interviews, which can be scheduled during flexible hours between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST.
