Overview:

The 4B Cardiac Unit, comprised of 31 beds, focuses on adult Cardiac patient, Drug loading, post Angio, CHF, vascular and medical patients. Shift schedules include days (0700-1900) and nights (1900-0700), with weekend rotation every 2 weeks. Clinical skills include:
    • Telemetry Monitoring
    • Pacemaker/ICA Care
    • Post Angio Care
    • TR Band
    • 5 Main Medication Drips

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure:
    • Current LPN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current LPN Missouri temporary work permit.
    • Must be IV Certified by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications:
    • Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
