Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your role will involve assessing patients, administering medications, and assisting with various medical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and practice aseptic techniques
- Assist with catheterization procedures
- Perform basic life support in emergency situations
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in WV
- 1 year experience in pediatrics is preferred
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for infection prevention
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Ability to provide behavioral health support to patients
- Experience with dialysis procedures is a plus
- Competency in acute pain management techniques
- Proficient in inhalation therapy.
Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing
Pay: $1,867.64 per week
