Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Skilled Nursing Facility (Day Shift)

Schedule: Day Shift Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The LVN will provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring continuity of care through medication administration, clinical support, and supervision of CNAs and support staff.

• Assess, plan, and implement resident care under RN supervision

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents

• Supervise CNAs and support staff to ensure quality care delivery

• Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, interdisciplinary teams, and external agencies

• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Active California LVN license (required)

• Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care experience (required)

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Current BLS certification

• Ability to pass nursing medical competency testing

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Basic computer proficiency
