Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient wellness and recovery goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a staffing or recruiting capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of patient care standards and clinical procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
