SUMMARY:


This role will be responsible for analyzing financial statements and operational documents to determine valuation and negotiation processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in financial advisory with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assess and analyze detailed financial statement information consisting of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, working capital, net assets, cost account, business plans, business models and other operational documents and data;
  • Consolidate and integrate data which may have an impact on final valuation and negotiation processes i.e. identification of financial and operating trends including: normalized EBITDA, normalized working capital, normalized revenue, net debt, potential liabilities and risks;
  • Prepare deal-oriented presentations, reports and sum-ups that highlight specific key issues based on previously made assessments and analysis;
  • Gather and translate results of conducted analysis into essential information which form part of the deal strategy and agreement;
  • Serve as a point of contact in day-to-day operations, preparation of request lists as well as participating in meetings, Q&A processes and teleconferences.
  • Assist the company with pre-M&A and post M&A integration.
  • Assist management with financial data analysis and PowerPoint preparation.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance and accounting
  • 3-4 years of experience in Financial Advisory / Audits (preferably Big4 experience, or relevant corporate finance experience in an advisory firm or bank
  • ACCA certificate (or other equivalent)
  • Comprehensive account skills, including working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Highly analytical mindset
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
