Under the direct supervision of the Chef/Patient service manager, prepares, seasons, and cooks food for the hospital patients, employees, and visitors.

• Ability to work with a wide variety of people
• Must have very good interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral written instruction
• Must have the ability to move quickly from one task to another as the needs of the department change
• Must be well organized and able to multitask

• 2-4 years of full-time cooking experience required
• 2+ years of kitchen supervisory experience
• A high school diploma required
• Graduate of a formal technical school specializing in a hotel or institutional cooking STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Medical terminology course completion preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
