The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for providing leadership to all clinical staff and related services to assure the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations. The Director of Clinical Services serves as a change agent to streamline services and promote excellence in care by providing staff with support, mentoring, coaching, and supervision. The Director of Clinical Services works under the direction of the Administrative Director and works collaboratively with the staff, and other leaders within the agency the Community Health Division.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills in relating with all types of colleagues and customers in stressful situations.
- Current knowledge of all homecare regulatory requirements and demonstrated expertise in implementing quality systems to meet these regulations preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously on an executive level and to exercise independent judgment.
- 5+ years of progressive and versatile nursing and management experience required
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, problem-solving, team building, budgeting, and coaching.
- Knowledge of home care operations is preferred.
- Experience in preparing, monitoring, and enforcing budgets and staffing patterns.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field preferred.
- A valid Driver's License is required for this need/Travelers must have their own vehicle for this need
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/assistance
- Acute care experience preferred
- Certified home health experience including proficiency with OASIS required and NON-NEGOTIABLE
