Location: Lawrence, MA 01841

Assignment Start Date: 11/25/2024

Shift: Days, Full Time

Salary range: $106,000.00 to $130,000.00

The Site Nurse Manager provides leadership to the nursing staff and oversees daily administrative and nursing activities. Plans develops, and implements systems that assure the site's smooth nursing operation. Responsible for training, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing staff in their delivery of patient care. Assures clinicians are fully supported for patient care. Works collaboratively with the medical staff and all other departments to ensure that the goals of the Health Center are accomplished.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Recruits, trains, and develops nursing staff. Initiates and communicates personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, and disciplinary action. Coaches and motivates employees to meet patient needs.
  • Recognizes, assesses, and takes immediate action in acute crises.
  • Assesses the staff nurses' ability to safely administer and accurately document immunizations and medications.
  • Provides training as needed.
  • Can assist and train on nursing procedures.
  • Participates in ongoing quality assurance programs to ensure that quality, safety, and appropriateness of services are evaluated, monitored, and appropriate actions taken.
  • Participates in evaluating strategies that improve patient care and departmental services.
  • Oversees the ordering of medical equipment and supplies. Monitors and maintains medical closet.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience is required

Education:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing institute is required
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

  • A current MA RN license is required
  • A current BLS certification is required
