Day Shift | Long Term Job Summary:
We are hiring an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing environment. This position involves assembling, repairing, testing, and inspecting medical device components while following strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work with small components, and committed to producing quality products. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, and test medical devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related assemblies.
- Perform manufacturing operations according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
- Read and follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Handle small components with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize electronic data collection systems and basic computer applications.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety policies, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Medical device manufacturing environment with strict cleanroom and gowning requirements.
- Must comply with all PPE, contamination control, and safety policies.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
