Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Position Summary:
Join our team as a Tier 1 Operator, responsible for inspecting and packing products manufactured on high-speed paper converting equipment. You’ll ensure quality in every product while complying with safety programs and quality assurance systems to support our site’s business goals.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and pack products according to customer specifications using safe work practices.
- Alert the Operator if products do not meet quality requirements and assist with resolving issues.
- Read, understand, and accurately complete daily paperwork.
- Follow the Production Order Packet (POP); set up your work area and replenish materials as needed.
- Assist the Operator with set-up and changeover activities as directed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in safety programs.
- Assist fellow team members as needed and perform additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Stable work history; six months of experience in manufacturing or other physical labor roles preferred.
- Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace.
- Quality-conscious and dedicated to excellence.
- Strong work ethic, evidenced by enthusiasm and positivity.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Proven dependability and reliability.
- Willingness to work overtime if needed.
Physical Requirements:
The position involves frequent talking, hearing, walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, reaching, handling, pushing/pulling levers and buttons, and using various tools. Must be able to repeatedly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
