Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team specializing in medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality production processes within a clean room environment.
Responsibilities
- Train on policies, protocols, and procedures to effectively execute assigned duties.
- Perform a variety of packaging operations including primary and secondary packaging, material handling, and cleaning/sanitization.
- Conduct in-process sampling, inspection, and testing as directed.
- Execute responsibilities in accordance with documented procedures, protocols, and training lessons, ensuring compliance with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing cGMPs consistent with 21-CFR-211 guidelines.
- Accurately complete process-related paperwork and operational documentation.
- Seek assistance from Technical Operators or Supervisors for clarification in case of uncertainties or unexpected occurrences.
- Operate mixing processes using a small hand truck to maneuver barrels and set up mixers for adhesive materials.
- Manage slitting processes to cut materials to customer specifications and prepare for shipping.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma (HSD) required.
- Ability to pass a financial background check.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret work orders and follow instructions.
- Familiarity with machine operation and production processes.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with machine setup, lockout/tagout procedures is a plus.
- Open to entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and well-lit maintaining a borderline clean room standard. Although not fast-paced, the team is consistently engaged, emphasizing communication and teamwork. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional strong adhesive odors present in certain areas of the facility. Shift options include 2nd shift (2p-10:30p, Monday-Friday) and 3rd shift (10p-6:30a, Sunday-Thursday), with training conducted on the 1st shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Rock, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10/hr.
