Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
Join a small, family-owned machine shop as a Machine Operator where you will be an integral part of a close-knit team. You will be involved in producing high-quality products for a variety of industries including automotive, electronics, and defense. This role offers regular weekday hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
- Set up machines for production runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with basic programming, utilizing G&M codes when necessary.
Essential Skills
- Experience with machine operation, specifically CNC mills and lathes.
- Basic understanding of machine setup processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with G&M codes for CNC programming.
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment.

Work Environment
Work in a small machine shop alongside a team of 3-4 floor workers. The shop does not require screenings or steel toe boots, promoting a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montoursville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
