Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating basic finishing equipment and tools by following established processes and work order instructions. This role ensures adherence to productivity and quality standards while developing an understanding of machine operations under direct supervision. The position supports safe operations, applies company policies and procedures, and contributes to a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate basic finishing equipment and tools following established processes and directions
- Follow work order instructions accurately
- Perform quality tests to ensure products meet required standards
- Adhere to defined productivity standards
- Develop understanding of tools and equipment used in routine machine operations
- Learn and apply company policies and procedures in daily activities
- Build productive working relationships with internal teams
- Resolve simple problems of limited complexity
- Comply with all required safety practices and regulations
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of computer operations
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Attention to detail and quality
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under direct supervision
Education:
High school education or equivalent vocational qualification
Less than 1 year of experience required
