Eden Organic Pasta Company 9104 Culver St., Detroit
Position: Machine Operator / Pasta Maker
Reports to: General Manager, Eden Organic Pasta Company
Duties and Responsibilities
1.) A proficient a team member knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation, and GMPs
2.) Familiarity with quality control procedures for production and company operations
3.) Skilled operation of pasta making and associated equipment
4.) Perform operations consistent with facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
5.) Conscientiously handle inventory to avoid damage or adulteration
6.) Produce finished product that reliably meets specifications
7.) Monitor all aspects of the facility as it relates to production and accuracy
8.) Accurately complete daily production batch record entries
9.) Help in the maintenance and overall condition of the facility, equipment, and inventory in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements
10.) Maintain an organized and clean workspace
11.) Safe operation of equipment, safety first
12.) Anticipate and communicate necessities required for production
Job Requirements
A.) Education sufficient to carry out assigned responsibilities
B.) Commitment to quality and a desire to learn the art of pasta making
C.) Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently
D.) Pass a pre-placement physical
