We are seeking to hire Machine Operators for 2nd Shift for our client in Prineville, OR!
Benefits Available!

Set up, adjust and operate an individual machine, work cell, or a position within a work center.

Read process documentation to determine physical specifications and processing steps.

Process transactions.

Set-up and adjust equipment; understand drawings, change heads, inserts and other replacement tooling.

Gather materials as needed for assembly of doors.

Perform quality checks.

Operates motorized equipment, (i.e. forklift, KVAL lifts, etc.) as needed.

Perform minor preventative maintenance and operator care as required, i.e. oiling, minor tooling replacement.

Assists Management, Maintenance, and Quality Personnel when trouble shooting equipment, process, or material issues.

Communicate effectively for flow of doors

Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate.

Perform housekeeping duties.

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Wear appropriate personal protection equipment.

Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures.

Work with over 60 lbs occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day)

Push/Pull 100 lbs w/ assistance seldom (up to 13% in an 8 hr day)

Kneel/Squat occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day)

Stoop frequently (up to 67% in an 8 hour day)

Twist occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day)

Stand in one spot for long periods

Must be able to read and write English

Must be able to read a tape measure

Must have experience operating machines, have knowledge of the materials and products.

Must know how to properly lock out/ tag out machine. Must be able to change bits, blades and drill bit.

Must inform and report to maintenance and supervisor any issues that may occur to the machine.

This position requires a high level of responsibility, and concentration to set up and run the machine properly, with a basic level of supervision.
