Position Summary: 1st Shift M-F 6AM-2:30PM
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating wire drawing equipment to reduce the cross-section of wire by pulling it through one or more drawing dies, ensuring the final product meets customer specifications.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating wire drawing equipment to reduce the cross-section of wire by pulling it through one or more drawing dies, ensuring the final product meets customer specifications.
- Operate wire drawing equipment, including bull block, 8-strand, and 10-strand machines.
- Draw round and shaped wire in various alloys to meet product specifications.
- Operate batch and strand annealing furnaces as required.
- Follow documented procedures and process routers for different alloy types.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized work area.
- Support a strong safety culture by following all safety rules, including reporting incidents and near misses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required by supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience working with various metals is preferred
- Ability to utilize various measruing devices
- Basic math, comprehension and computer skills
- Ability to perform additonal duties as required
