ISC, and EFC International company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production cycles and high-quality output. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning is essential. Welding experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to prepare for production cycles.
- Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rate.
- Load raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
- Test machine operations periodically to ensure proper function.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during shifts.
- Check output to detect flaws or errors and take corrective action.
- Maintain logs of production activities, approved units, and defects.
- Ensure all work follows health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience with bandsaws, ironworkers, press brakes, and other machines.
- Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Understanding of production processes and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and strength for repetitive and manual tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or degree preferred).
- Welding experience is a plus.
