Job Description

ISC, and EFC International company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production cycles and high-quality output. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning is essential. Welding experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to prepare for production cycles.
  • Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rate.
  • Load raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
  • Test machine operations periodically to ensure proper function.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during shifts.
  • Check output to detect flaws or errors and take corrective action.
  • Maintain logs of production activities, approved units, and defects.
  • Ensure all work follows health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience with bandsaws, ironworkers, press brakes, and other machines.
  • Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Understanding of production processes and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and strength for repetitive and manual tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or degree preferred).
  • Welding experience is a plus.
