Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Heat Treat Operator to support production in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating heat treat furnaces and related equipment to process metal parts according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat furnaces and supporting equipment (batch or continuous)
• Load and unload parts using carts, baskets, or material handling equipment
• Monitor temperatures, cycle times, and process controls
• Perform basic quality checks and inspections of treated parts
• Record production data, temperatures, and cycle information
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with routine equipment checks and report issues as needed

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or heat treat experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working around heat, furnaces, and industrial equipment
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment
• Steel-toe footwear and PPE required
