Position: Senior Flexographic Print Operator
Location: Morris Plains, NJ
Shift: Multiple shifts available

As a Flexographic Print Operator, you will be responsible for multi-machine operation, primarily running the label applicator, Mactec blister machine, and the R160 Gallus printing press. Your role includes setup, testing, and assembly of products, ensuring quality and quantity requirements are met.

• Operate and monitor printing presses (Mark Andy, Gallus), slitting equipment, and blister machine
• Setup and assemble products using designated equipment
• Inspect products for defects, marking non-conforming materials according to work instructions
• Ensure product assembly meets production goals (quality and quantity)
• Properly manage raw, in-process, and finished goods materials, ensuring correct storage and handling
• Perform material transactions in ERP systems for production materials
• Maintain inventory of operating supplies
• Ensure compliance with ISO and GMP standards for work area and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
• Support Research & Development activities, including participation in product and process development trials
• Provide training for new hires
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of light equipment operation (e.g., forklift, pallet jack)

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, operating manuals, and MSDS sheets
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and convert between measurement units (Imperial to Metric)
• Understanding of quality and safety control standards
• Basic administrative paperwork skills
• Ability to lift and handle heavy objects
• Familiarity with email and basic computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
