Machine Shop SupervisorIMS is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee daily machining operations and lead a team of machinists in the production of custom components and equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while meeting production schedules.The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, leadership experience, and hands-on familiarity with Haas, Doosan, and Mazak CNC machines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of the machine shop and support machinists and operatorsPlan, schedule, and prioritize machining jobs to meet production deadlinesEnsure quality standards and specifications are met for all machined componentsProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting support on CNC machining operationsMonitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance as neededMaintain a safe and organized work environment and enforce shop safety standardsTrain, mentor, and develop machinists and shop personnelCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiencyMonitor productivity and recommend improvements to machining processes and workflowsRequirements5+ years of machining experience, preferably in a job shop or custom manufacturing environmentPrevious supervisory or leadership experience in a machine shopStrong working knowledge of Haas, Doosan, and Mazak CNC machinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsExperience with machining large or custom components preferredStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunity to work with a highly skilled engineering and manufacturing teamA collaborative environment focused on innovation and problem-solvingStable and growing company specializing in custom engineered solutions
