Machining Engineer
Location: Saginaw MI
Salary: $70K - $90K
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machining Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing machining processes to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Analyze technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Design and optimize tooling and fixtures for machining processes.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
- Maintain and update documentation related to machining processes and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or Machining Engineer.
- Strong skills in CAD/CAM software and technical drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of machining techniques and precision engineering principles.
- Experience with quality control processes and ISO standards.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
