Summary:

• Setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to produce metal parts and mechanisms with exacting tolerances.

• Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, determining operations, using hand tools and precision instruments, and collaborating with Mechanical Engineering and Quality teams.

• The role also involves setting up and running CNC machining centers, modifying CNC programs, and utilizing CAM to generate programs from CAD models.

Required Skills

• Experience with lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.

• Experience in setting up and running CNC machining centers.

• Proficiency in generating and modifying CNC programs.

• Familiarity with CAM and CAD systems.

• Knowledge of machining tolerances and dimensions.

Desired Skills

• CNC Technical/Trade school certification.

• Apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

• Strong team player with a growth mindset.
