Responsibilities:

• Process and fill prescriptions accurately; manage insurance adjudications and resolve claims rejections
• Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification with attention to detail
• Perform data entry, manage prescription documentation, and effectively communicate with patients and prescribers
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring
• Assist with medication returns, quarantines, and destruction processes
• Cross-train across pharmacy functions to support departmental needs
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; confirm highest education level during screening
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification highly preferred, FL pharmacy tech license in good standing required
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience with a focus on retail settings; call center experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort handling phone communications
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills to thrive in dynamic workflows

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
