  • Strong background in mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM/DB2, and online applications with at least 5+ years of hands-on development experience
  • Modern Mindset: While you're an expert in legacy systems, you're also excited by the challenge of integrating them into modern infrastructure and eager to learn about new technologies.
  • Problem Solver: You thrive in situations that require creative solutions and have a natural ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and are a strong communicator who can translate technical jargon into clear, actionable plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on mainframe applications experience working with COBOL, JCL, VSAM
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with DB2 and CICS required
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in development project life cycle activities and maintenance projects.
  • Experience working on web-based applications
  • Proven experience creating and deploying stored procedures in DB2 (required)
  • In-depth Systems Analysis experience required (required)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • May need to work some on-call hours to support application/production (hours will be adjusted so rule out overtime).
  • Ability to work within a diverse, co-located, multi-cultural and multiple stakeholder environment.
