Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Write, test, and deploy programs in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• System Maintenance: Analyze, debug, and enhance existing applications for efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure reliability.
• Mentorship: Guide junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Compliance: Adhere to enterprise engineering governance, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.

🛠️ Required Skills & Tools

• Programming Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL.
• Transaction Systems: CICS.
• Databases: DB2.
• Mainframe Utilities: VSAM, IMS, and other IBM mainframe tools.
