Maintenance/ Production Mechanic Apply
Position Maintenance/Production Mechanic (all shifts) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot high‑speed PC‑based production machinery that processes mail Create and perform, or subcontract, a preventative machinery maintenance program Ensure all equipment operates at its highest level of efficiency Maintain inventory of machine parts Negotiate with outside vendors to minimize costs Perform minor physical plant maintenance duties where feasible Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Act as the company’s Safety Officer Maintain compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures Education and/or Work Experience Requirements Electro‑mechanical background helpful Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to complete assignments within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices High school diploma or GED required; Trade School Associate degree preferred Physical Requirements Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone and in person $35‑$65K depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
