Job Summary:
  • A well-established food manufacturing facility is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Team Lead to oversee 2nd Shift operations. This critical leadership role ensures equipment reliability and supports production goals by driving timely maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring the on-shift maintenance team.

Job Duties:
  • Lead, coach, and coordinate the activities of the 2nd Shift maintenance technicians.
  • Prioritize and complete both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Develop daily maintenance plans aligned with production needs and equipment priorities.
  • Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting support for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to solve equipment challenges and improve processes.
  • Foster the development of team members through training and technical mentorship.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of work performed through a CMMS.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a food, beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical or controls experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and computer proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
