This role serves as the key link between maintenance technicians, production teams, and management—ensuring smooth communication, timely equipment repairs, and effective execution of preventive maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities Provide coordination and hands-on technical support to maintenance technicians and production staff. Lead efforts to reduce equipment downtime through proactive planning and collaboration. Audit and monitor maintenance systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Maintain clear communication with production supervisors and across maintenance shifts regarding equipment status, temporary fixes, and planned repairs. Assist in managing major equipment outages, escalating to management as necessary. Support and enforce company policies and safety procedures. Ensure timely completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned to support maintenance and production goals. Qualifications & Experience Required: 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing: Electrical/electronic systems Pneumatics and hydraulics Preventive maintenance programs Skilled in the use of power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments. Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability. Proficient with maintenance tracking software, documentation, and reporting. Knowledge of corrective action planning, cost-saving initiatives, and basic computer skills. Preferred: Basic programming/troubleshooting knowledge of A-B PLC controlled systems (certification a plus). Manufacturing/Engineering certification or degree. Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or compressed air equipment repair/troubleshooting. Why Join Us?
