Maintenance Coordinator Apply
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our industrial facility. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting all skilled trade maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, millwright, and other technical functions. The ideal candidate will ensure effective planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance work to support operational uptime, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities for skilled trades personnel.

Develop, manage, and prioritize work orders and maintenance schedules using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Ensure all maintenance work complies with site safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Liaise with operations, engineering, and production teams to schedule and plan maintenance shutdowns, repairs, and inspections.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history.

Ensure proper inventory and timely procurement of tools, parts, and materials.

Monitor contractor performance and support third-party maintenance and service providers when needed.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability-centered maintenance practices.

Troubleshoot and help resolve equipment and system issues to reduce downtime.

Train and mentor skilled trades team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or trade certification (e.g., Millwright, Electrician, HVAC, etc.) strongly preferred.

3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance coordination or similar role in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled maintenance practices.

Proficient in using CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Fiix) for work order and asset management.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Working knowledge of safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout, WHMIS, and OSHA standards.
