We welcome our veterans to apply! Lakeside Book Company is looking for a Maintenance Industrial Electrician/Electronics Technician who will work in all areas of our manufacturing processes. We will rely on your expertise to ensure our machines are operating well and maintained in a way that prevents unexpected downtime. As a Maintenance Electrician/Electronic Tech, you will repair, install, modify and test highly technical printing and binding equipment in a modern manufacturing setting. What You’ll Do Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times. Repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, and test highly technical printing and binding equipment. Gather information and feedback from other departments around repairs and efficiency of our machines. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair motors. Work with high and variable voltage, DC power and circuit controls, and 480 VAC phase 3 power wiring. Understand, repair, and program PLC, CNC, and robotic equipment and controls. Bring ideas to the table on how we can improve our processes and equipment. Qualifications Proficient with troubleshooting /diagnostics and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience and understanding of relay logic circuits Experience and understanding of AC and DC motors and power systems Familiar with VAC 480 3 phase power wiring systems Ability to read and understand various prints and schematics required. Basic knowledge of machine and process control, including experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Lenze) and frequency drives are highly beneficial.
